MCD Elections In Delhi

MCD stand for Municipal Corporation Delhi. It was one of the three municipal corporations in the National Capital Territory of Delhi.We usually use the term 'Nagar Nigam'. Since the 5 years term id about to expire around April.The next 'Nagar Palika Chunav' is going to be held and the dates will be declared by the Election Commission Of India. BJP is ruling Delhi MCD but it seems that there may be a great competition between AAP and BJP in the coming elections.  The Municipal Corporation Of Delhi(MCD) handles civic administration for the city as a part of the Panchayat Raj act.

TheNational Capital Territory Of Delhi(NCT) has three local municipal corporations namely, Municipal Corporation Of Delhi (MCD), New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) and Delhi Cantonment Board. Municipal Of Delhi Elections can be conducted in the month of  April 2017 but it's not official,the official notification is announced by the EC(Election Commission).
